Formerly known as Olivier Ventures Inc., the Company completed a strategic pivot in March 2026 by entering into a definitive option agreement to acquire the 471-hectare FRP Highway 101 Gold Project in Frecheville Township, Ontario. This transaction marks Kichona's full transition from its previous energy-focused roots into pure-play gold exploration in one of Canada's most prolific gold camps.
The FRP Highway 101 Gold Project is strategically located along Highway 101 and directly adjoins Agnico Eagle's past-producing Holt and Holloway Mines. It lies on the projected North Branch of the Porcupine-Destor Deformation Zone (PDDZ) — a major structural corridor responsible for many of the Abitibi's largest gold deposits. With only four historic drill holes ever completed on the entire property (none of which tested the central PDDZ target), and recent high-resolution magnetometer and VLF-EM surveys now highlighting multiple strong conductive anomalies and structural targets, the project offers exceptional discovery potential under thin glacial cover.
